As far as we are aware this cookery school is now closed. There are occasional posts on its Facebook page.

Basic ingredients: The quietly assured Belinda Hill offers a wide range of courses for adults, men-only and children in her bright, countryside kitchen housed in a converted barn in Oxfordshire. One of the most popular courses is Kitchen Confidence, which runs one day a week over four weeks. Other classes focus on Inspired Entertaining, Cook and Dine, Core Skills and Seasonal Cooking. Belinda teaches most of the classes with the exception of some of the ethnic cuisine classes, such as Sri Lankan and Gujarati cooking, which are run by specialist guest chefs.

They say: Cookery courses are a great way of helping people to get to know each other. We offer an experience that is fun, friendly and creative. Students are encouraged to taste every step of the way.

We say: Belinda grows many of the herbs for her classes in her own garden. For more flavour, check out the website’s up-front introductory video.
