Basic ingredients: Established by chef and food writer Prue Leith in 1975, Leiths offers courses for professionals and amateurs including a unique year-long diploma course. Based in smart new premises in West London, courses are broken into ten or four week sessions, week-long intensive tuition and day and evening classes. Courses include knife skills, bread making, healthy eating and chocolate workshops.
They say: Training professional chefs remains our USP but we have more courses for kitchen enthusiasts than ever before. We aim to increase skills and confidence and extend recipe repertoires.
We say: Leiths is a Great British food institution and the ideal place to start any cookery journey. Look out for the food and wine matching classes and the champagne masterclasses.
