Basic ingredients: Above the farm shop and beneath a barn-like roof is a roomy cookery school offering hands-on classes for up to 12 people and demos for 20. There’s a wide range of courses on offer from tapas and Thai to classes for children, men only and singles. All produce is sourced from Hampshire and has a real field-to-fork feel.
They say: All our meat used in our cookery courses is reared on the farm and prepared by the resident butchers. All fruit and vegetables are sourced from local suppliers.
We say: Load up at the farm shop. It has a well-stocked cheese counter, an independent wine shop and sells farm-fresh fruit, vegetables and a whole range of ready-made meals. Watch out for special guests: Marco Pierre White showed up in 2010.
