Spring is well and truly in the air and farmers’ markets are filling up, some with the first asparagus of the season, which has come on a bit early in places such as Dorset because of the sustained sunshine we’ve been having recently.
It all puts you in the mood for cooking really. And there are some great seasonal courses available at leading cookery schools – including hot cross buns at Virtuous Bread and chocolate making courses all over.
A super new Cookery School at Llanerch Vineyard in Wales is due to open this month. Culinary matters will be overseen by Angela Gray and we will be reviewing it for Looking to Cook just as soon as it opens its oven doors.
